I want to talk to you about the power of the pause because the power of the pause really matters. And this is what we’ve all done together as a community just now.
You paused. You’re sitting there. You’re thinking. You’re thinking about your life. You’re thinking about your teams. You’re thinking about your goals, your health. When was the last time you had a chance to do that?
And so from now and on, you build the power of the pause into every single day of your life. You pause. It’s like when you drive a vehicle, you come to an intersection. You don’t take a wild turn. You’re going to get into an accident. You pause, you look, you think, then you take the turn.
Same thing in life, but you’ve got to do it every single day.
Some people pray. Some people meditate. Some people swim. I personally like to walk. I think better when I’m moving. So I build that into my day whenever I can to have a few minutes with myself. Some people just sit back in their chair, but start by scheduling it.
Repeat, repeat for 30 days so that you build the pause into your day so you can plan your day, think what your 10s are, get clarity with yourself, and then you take the turns of life.
